Injured Rangers Would Be Ready for January Start to Season

Written by Kevin DeLury on .

Pat Leonard at the Daily News reports that Marian Gaborik (offseason shoulder surgery), Rick Nash (aggravated groin) and Carl Hagelin (shoulder) all would be available for an early-January training camp and start to the season.

Leonard adds that Gaborik did some rehab work in Slovakia but has spent a significant amount of time recently in New York.

Finally, Leonard says that Ryan McDonagh, who returned from playing in the KHL on November 20th because of bumps and bruises, is healthy.

...if for no other reason, the lockout has been beneficial because it allowed Gaborik to heal as well as give other worn down Ranger players (see Dan Girardi) additional time off to recovery after what was a grueling season of blocking shots and playing the "right way" last year.

...and now that we know these players are healthy, don't expect a season. lol

The only way the LOCKOUT will end is by getting rid of BETTMAN!

They will have more time to recover and be ready for next season. Sadly, I think Sauer's career is over. It' too bad, he needed to sign my puck he gave me in Toronto.
