Fogarty Snaps 7 Game Scoreless Streak

Written by Kevin DeLury on .

Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park reports that Steven Fogarty (2011 - 3rd) broke a seven game scoreless streak when he scored his fourth goal of the season during Notre Dame's 5-1 win over Michigan State last night (1:36 mark)...

...that's a sick snipe. Love this kid's size and physical game. And as just a freshman his body is still developing.

In other prospect news, Rubenstein says Michael St. Croix (2011  - 4th) has 8g, 11a in just 31 games on the power play this season. He has 14g, 24a overall.

Meanwhile, Shane McColgan (2011-5th) tallied his 19th assist and 25th point in the Saskatoon Blade's 9-0 victory over the Regina Pats.

Finally, Brady Skjei (2012 - 1st) was used on the third defensive pair and was scoreless with no shots, while going even for the night as Minnesota blew a 4-1 third period lead to tie Colorado College 4-4.

...listen I love hearing about how well Rangers prospects are doing just as much as the next guy, but if this is all I'm blogging about until next September, I'm not going to be a fun person to be around.

There is nothing wrong about blogging about the prospects some of us do it because it is more fun than the NHL

@bigdaddyfblove Not on as good of goal scoring pace as last year, but he's been money on power play where the Rangers obviously need help
