|"Rangers have been fishing, just looking into if they can trade for a second pair d-man who can move the puck and help the power play, but if they can not find a fit for that role, Campoli/Eminger, someone of that nature is a strong signing possibility"
Though the Nash trade obviously resulted in the Rangers losing some top assets, they still have a number of prospects and draft picks to move in a potential deal. Outside of Jay Bouwmeester, whose cap hit is probably too much for Sather's liking and would require a big return, there has not been much speculation as far as defensemen available for trade. Glen Sather has done some wonderful things on the trade market before so it's always a possibility, but I do believe that he is ultimately going to have to resort to bringing back a guy like Eminger or picking up someone else such as Campoli or Jurcina from the bargain bin.

This is something they hopefully address this season cuz dollars to donuts MDZ does a nother disappearing act in the playoffs.
If we're going bargain-bin shopping, Brett Clark and Scott Hannan have to be considered. Think either one would be good fits for NY.
Actually nah, clark is crappy and old plus he aint big enough. I like Carlo Colaiacovo probably the best for defenseman still on the market. 2nd best probably michel roszival or pavel kubina
