ESPN Radio, MSG Sign Extension to Broadcast Rangers Games

Written by James Wrabel on .

Rick Carpinello of Rangers Report has a press release that states ESPN Radio 98.7 FM in New York and MSG Networks have agreed to a multi-year extension to keep ESPN Radio the broadcast home for the New York Rangers.

The station, as you know, has successdully transitioned from AM to FM radio.
  • Great news especially now that ESPN Radio is on FM, meaning a much clearer and stronger signal hopefully. All this is for naught if there's a lockout next season, however.

This is good. Last year I would stream the game, either audio or video, to my phone because the signal was pure crap and 90% useless in Suffolk. The new station comes in great!

I meant to mention how the streaming caused me problems because it runs up my data quick.
