Senators Own Rangers At MSG
Don Brennan at the Ottawa Sun reports on the Senators success at Madison Square Garden...
"In the all-time series between the two teams, the Senators are 23-13-0-1 at MSG — 11-2 since the lockout and 14-3 in their last 17 visits."
Here's Daniel Alfredsson on the Senators game plan going into the series...
"We're going to go in and give it everything we have. Hopefully, we can get off to a good start in the series and make the (Rangers) chase us."
...MSG during the playoffs is a whole different animal than during the regular season. So while the Senators have had success at the World's Most Famous Arena, they've never witnessed as raucous a scene as they'll see on Thursday night.
...having said that, the Rangers better watchout because the Senators have a lot to feel confident about coming into the series.
