Rangers 3, Senators 2

The New York Rangers defeated the Ottawa Senators by the score of 3-2 in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals matchup. The series is now tied at 3-3. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports.
...now that's what I'm talking about! For the first time since Game 1 the Rangers played their style of game and for the most part dominated that game.
...but I'll tell you what, that game was looking much too similar to the last two until Stepan, who has struggled mightily the entire series, scored the biggest goal of the season. Pressure was lifted and they were a completely different team from that point on.
...turning point of the game was Prust taking on Neil. Did Prust lose the fight? Sure, but he sent a message that enough was enough and Neil was invisible from that point on. Best way to combat a bully is to punch him in the face.
...congrats to Kreider on his first NHL goal. Good thing Torts was playing him on the fourth line the last two games.
...officiating was atrocious from beginning to end for both teams. Nothing worse than video replay confirming Neil's goal despite the obvious kicking motion. Can't wait to hear the explanation on that one.
...i will take full responsibility for this win because of my Messier guarantee post this morning. lol
...wow, the power play might have outplayed the penalty kill tonight. And that's saying a lot because the penalty kill was unreal.
...i take back every bad thing I've said about Del Zotto on this blog after that hit on Neil. And so help me God if he gets suspended.
...i told you the Richards signing was worth it.
...was Bickel left in New York to take care of Boyle?
...wonder if Rangers still had Gomez instead of McDonagh, if he'd be having the same impact in this series as the Rangers stud defenseman?
...couple of days off to enjoy this before Game 7 on Thursday night.
