McIlrath vs. St. Croix In WHL EC Finals
Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park reports that Dylan McIlrath's (2010 - 1st) Moose Jaw Warriors will face Michael St. Croix's (2011 - 4th) Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL's Eastern Conference Finals starting tonight..."Dylan McIlrath has found his game at the right time of the year and he will be looking to stop Michael St. Croix who, while his numbers aren't anything like the regular season remains a major threat to score from everywhere."
St. Croix, who had 45g, 60a in the regular season, has 3g, 5a in eight playoff games this year.
Kelly Friesen at Buzzing the Net also previews the match-up and says that there is no tougher defensive duo in the WHL than McIlrath and his partner Joel Edmundson.
...i'd love if this was televised in the area. Should be a battle of offense vs. defense. Will definitely be following this on the blog.
