History Not On Rangers Side
Katie Strang of ESPN NY gives us this piece of bad news for tonight...
"The Rangers have trailed 3-2 in a best-of-seven series 17 times in their history; they've come back and won a series just once (1994 Eastern Conference Finals vs. New Jersey). And since the NHL lockout, teams that are down 3-2 have come back to win the series just six times in 31 opportunities."
...well that's not good news. Although you have to love the only time they've comeback was in 1994. Hoping for some good karma.
Strang has more on the Rangers here...
Or maybe history is on their side after the #8 seed Kings knocked off the #1 Canucks in the Western Conference playoffs...

Both 8 seeds in East & West have never upset both 1 seeds in the same season's playoffs #NHL. 10 8's ever have pulled it off, per Elias
