...btw, that logo has been my Twitter avatar for two years. It's the Rangers logo from 1935-48.

Update, 3:19 p.m.:
The NHL has announced that a major press event has been scheduled for Sept. 26 at Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia.

The press conference will start at 1:30 p.m.

...i wonder what it could be?

...this looks pretty legit. Guess we won't know for sure until Monday. Wonder if jerseys will be unveiled as well.
