Per ESPN NY, Anisimov is getting an MRI on his knee today. Sauer (knee) is experiencing tendinitis.

Jim Cerny says Anisimov is at training facility. Still not sure reason he wasn't skating.

Rich Carpiniello at the Rangers Report has numerous quotes from this morning including this from Callahan on the difficult early schedule:
"It's going to be tough. It's an obstacle that we're prepared for and we have to overcome. We've talked about it a little bit. It's a distraction only if we let it be, and everybody on the team knows that. It's just a couple more road games. That's all it is."

...i think it's pretty safe to say Stepan will be on the opening night roster.

Per Zipay, Erixon's done really well, easy strides, stamina, while Stepan, Richards and Mitchell are a bit winded. Dubinsky strong as well.

The Rangers tweet that Dan Girardi was officially the first player on the ice this morning, while Andrew Gross adds that Brandon Prust, Kris Newbury and Brian Boyle, Sean Avery, Mike Rupp, Marc Staal and Ryan Callahan also on.
Gross adds that John Tortorella tells media that there will be no pucks today.
