Week Off Perfect for Lundqvist

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants was able to talk with Henrik Lundqvist about his thoughts on having week in between games after returning from the trip to Europe...

“This week is perfect,” Lundqvist said. “We have a couple of days off and a couple of really good practices. I think this is a good time for us.”

Here's Hank on where his game is at...

"I feel pretty good," Lundqvist said. "We just started so I better feel good. I'm getting there. It always takes you a little while to get where you want to be but it's coming. I feel pretty good. It's just about repeating the small stuff."

...Hank may think this week off was perfect but I'm going crazy. I feel like we're back in the off-season again.

...i love that Lundqvist says he only feels "pretty good." Can't wait to see him when he's locked in.

Here's John Tortorella on how he plans on getting Lundqvist some rest this season...

"Marty is going to play his games," Tortorella said. "However well Hank plays is still not going to take away what I think is best for him in the big picture. In hoping that we get there in the end and continue playing. So it is the same philosophy."
