Here's video of Mats Zuccarello being absolutely flattened by Adam Mair during Saturday night's game vs. Springfield. Zuccarella sat out the next night...
...Mair should be suspended for the rest of the season for that garbage. No need for that crap in the game.

i've always believed that the culprit in a hit like this should be suspended for DOUBLE the length of the injury caused by the hit. this applies to all scumbags like mair including patrice cormier.
pieces of shit like todd bertuzzi should be BANNED from hockey since his hit ended the career of steve moore.
At the speed at which the game is played now, it's only a matter of time before someone is killed, especilly by a hit whose sole purpose was to inflict injury. His intent was clear from the get go.
The post lockout rule changes made the game alot faster and a lot more dangerous.

Nice job by Partlett to go after Mair, but would have preferred to see him cross-check him in the back of the head instead of trying to get him to turn around.
I will say that MZA being so small needs to learn to keep his head on a swivel as it won't take much to knock him for a loop, legal or not.
Deveaux got him pretty good on Sunday. He threw in a few extra for Mats, and for Byers throwing in a few extra on Bickel. Way for Deveaux to get 'em.
@gravey94 I really hope Parlett can find his game and make it to the NHL someday, because I love that kid's character. He would be a great guy to have in that locker room.
Awful, late hit on Mats "don't let the door hit you on the way out" Zuccarello. Hate to see this.
