Henrik Lundqvist on DiPietro concussion (via Jim Cerny)...
"You feel for him. The last couple of years it's been a lot for him. When you are hurt that much it's also really tough on you mentally to all the time having to start over and rehab."

Its not so much funny as it is absurd. How brittle can one human being be? They'd have better luck if the put a graham cracker in net.
Like he doesnt even play a game yet and hes out its just ridiculous how injury prone he is.
They do need to cut ties with him at this point. I hate to say it but Isles are putting together a young exciting team and DiPietro is the poster child of the Islanders past ineptness.
A 15 year deal at about 68 Mil, and the guy can't stay on the ice, what a terrible contract, can you imagine the negative press/heat the Rangers would get if they ever did that! lol
Rangers could have signed Richards for 15 years at $10M per and it would still be better than DiPietro's contract!
still wouldnt be so fun if it was a ranger or someone close to you guys who got a concussion and was unable to do something he or she loves would it?
@ruddman I get what you're saying, but it is more a commentary on all the injuries DiPietro has had than the current concussion. Trust me, we Rangers fans are very sympathetic to concusions (see Marc Staal, Mike Richter & Jeff Beukeboom)
dude seriously joking about concussions are abit over the line.sure he is an islander but he is still a human try and show some respect man
