...man, it really looks like Hank is ridiculously excited to have Avery back.

Maybe Hank's so excited because the rest of the team dresses like schlumps and now Avery can get him into all the Vogue events.
Maybe in some weird way for all the baggage that comes with him this group just ain't the Rangers without Avery being Avery. Perhaps it's that intangible that led to his recall as much as Rupp's balky knee. At the time he was sent down did anyone really think he'd be back? Especially this soon?
@jasonshyer I never thought he'd be back period, no matter how many injuries. So I'm beside myself pumped.
Avery really seems genuinely excited to be back, and he's saying exactly what he needs to say. He is an asset to this team, and I think people need to look past his reputation and see the player he can be. Having said that, he needs to stay aggressive, stay in on the forecheck and get under opposing players' skin. He has a wicked wrister when he gets down low, needs to use it more. Stop with the blind passes into the slot, though. If having him back gets Hank in a better frame of mind, that alone is worth dressing him over EC. Christensen will have a good game now and again, but he simply does not fit this blue collar team. Too meek, too vanilla. Too inconsistent.
@thenyrblog You would be excited too, its like being in all the same classes with your best friend, makes it more fun.
