TheNYRBlog Reader DJ Fazio Mixes Rangers Compilations
Good friend of TheNYRBlog, Sam Fazio aka DJ Fazio has created two mixed compliations dedicated to the New York Rangers entitled Empire State of Mind Vol. 1 & Vol. 2.
Last year, through his own connections, Sam was able to get CDs of Vol. 1 to all the Rangers players including Brandon Prust, who apparently listens to the CD in his car all the time.
Sam, who's from Toronto, will actually be handing out CDs of Vol. 2 to the players today in Ottawa before watching the game in the front row behind the Rangers bench with his girlfriend tonight. Look for him on TV.
The music on the CDs feature tunes heard at MSG including Top 40, Hip Hop, Mash-Up, Rock, Old-School etc. Sam also used the Rangers victory song as well as Sam Rosen & Joe Micoletti's voices calling Rangers goals and Hank saves.

@KevinDeLury this is great... @rangersfan1996 been listening to both mixes all day at the office. Think I may have to try and get this played on our drive to the Rangers @ Islanders Game next tuesday.
