Gordon: Stepan's the Whole Package
Craig Custance at the Sporting News takes a look at a few young players that impressed at the World Hockey Championships including Derek Stepan.Here's Team USA coach Scott Gordon...
"I didn't realize how good Derek Stepan was," Gordon told Sporting News. "He was pretty impressive not just from a point standpoint but his hockey intelligence. He's the whole package."
Stepan had seven points (2g, 5a) in seven games for Team USA.

...i was also very impressed with the play of both McD and Kreider. Hope it will be a nice spring board for all three going into next year. Whether that's with the Rangers or at BC in the case of Kreider.

Love Stepan. LOVE. HIM. He's going to be something really amazing in a couple years, I just know it. (And hopefully, he'll still be on our side...lol)
yeah yeah, blah blah. you know what I'm watching right now. An eastern conf. finals game that does NOT feature the New York Rangers.
