...while Richards does not have a history of concussions, it only takes that initial one to start a domino effect. Just ask Eric Lindros and Mike Richter.
...having said that I still think the Rangers should go after Richards but like I've been saying on a shorter term deal.
Brooks also feels the Rangers should stay away from Brooks Laich, who will be commanding a first-liner's contract even though he is a second- or third-liner.
...i've seen a lot of Rangers fans interested in Laich, but I'm going to have to agree with Brooks here. If Laich is looking for first line money the Rangers should walk away.
" it only takes that initial one to start a domino effect. Just ask Eric Lindros and Mike Richter." Not calling you out Kev, just the way things have been going lately, but to pinpoint and analyze one guy as a concussion liability is getting out of hand — if you're in the NHL you're susceptible, ya know?
On another note... Crazy about that Werek trade...
@_Jack And no worries on calling me out that's what this blog is all about. Being able to express your opinions.
@_Jack Yeah, but once you have one, and it's in any sport, it seems the second and third one is never that far behind. Listen, I hope the Rangers get Richards and he's a stud, but you have to be concerned.
Yeah completely caught off guard with Werek trade,
