But the Rangers have to be concerned that their up and down play is going to open the door for one of those on the bubble teams to make a late push and snatch up that final playoff berth. Do you think the Rangers can hang on my friend?
The Rangers concern me greatly. They've lost some confidence. Only three wins in their last 10, that's not going to cut it. I feel like they overachieved in the first half and now reality is settling in. But they're a better team than what they showed last night in Anaheim.
...i thought after the two great wins against the Sens and Flyers the Rangers were on their way to locking up a playoff spot, but last night's game really has me bummed out this morning. The thing that really concerns me are the games in hand every team has on the Rangers, eventually that is going to bite them.
...what are your thoughts? Will the Rangers hold on or are we looking at deja vu?
Anything can seriously happen at this point. I really dont know if i believe in this coach of ours. I love the roster, and the future of our team but I am in deep concern of our leadership behind the bench.
Yet, I have to say I am really inpressed with Anaheim. How their built from head to toe and how they are a very diversed team. So large and dominant in individual scenes and they come together so well. What a great top line.
I've been saying that the Rangers are one big signing away from a decent play off run, make that 2 as Gaborik has plain stunk up this season :(
Hello from Spain!.Right now the main rival to watch out for is Buffalo, have 3 more games than the Rangers,if they lose 2 of 3 will be a great situation. The Rangers must win 7 or 8 games and they enter into the playoffs.Sorry by my english and Let´s Go Rangers!!!
"Will the Rangers hold on or are we looking at deja vu?"
Neither. I can't see them holding on to a spot when everyone else has games at hand. But at least least year they had a great run at the end and were climbing back up through the ranks from below. Now? If last night is any indication, looks like a sad, slow, downward slide as the 'Canes and the Sabres claw over them on their way up.
Here's hoping they prove me wrong!
