...would love to hear what everyone's all time Rangers team is. Please leave yours in the comments section. As well as your thoughts on Dan's team.
I'm with king badabing and Joe smith - brad park must be on this list. Just re read " play the man" ( seems like the Bruins have not changed much since the 70's)
Jagr-Bill Cook-Walt Tkaczuk
Vickers-Frank Boucher-Bryan Hextall
(honorable mentions to Callahan, Dubinsky - let's take a look there in a few years)
Brad Park-Ching Johnson
(honorable mentions to James Patrick, Barry Beck, Marc Staal, Girardi, Jeff Beaukeboom)
Zubov is one of the more underrated Defensemen ever is he not? Take a look at his career then debate if he should be in the hall of fame or not.
(honorable mentions to Davey kerr and Gump Worsley)
(You can't leave any of the top three off the list - I also do believe that all said and done Henrik will go down as the best goalie to play for this team but as of now Richter's '94 season is just too legendary to forsake here).
although Jagr Straka Nylander was a hell of a line. watch these highlights
This is a fun game, I'm building mine on team chemistry:
Line 1: Messier - Gretzky - Tikkanen
Line 2: Matteau - Graves - Kovalev
Line 3: Hlavac - Nedved - Dvorak
Line 4: Lisin - Gomez - Zherdev
explanation: 1.) edmonton buddies, 2.) '94 winners, 3.) Czeching line 4.) because every team needs their underachieving line.
I'm also young for this list, but how can you not have Beukeboom? I would have him in over Girardi. Also maybe Gretzky.
Just having a quick glance at it and without giving it much thought I would say that your most egregious non-inclusion is Brad Park.Park was second only to Orr as a defensemen during his peak years and CERTAINLY deserves to be there....
Lundqvist is going to shatter all of Mike Richter's records, but as far saying who's a better goalie it's tough because it's two different eras. It's a theoretical question saying who is better, and you cannot look at only the stats. If and when my guest post is posted you will see that.
Wow... Lundqvist behind richter? I know richter won the cup for the team but I think Lundqvist is a much better goalie.
Definitely Beukeboom over Girardi, for that matter Beukeboom over Staal at this point, although in a few years it will probably be Staal over Beuk. @EvanSzymkowicz
