Gross also has this quote from Brandon Dubinsky on his injury...
"It's not the worst thing, it's not as bad is it could be," Dubinsky said on his way out of Madison Square Garden tonight. "If we were in the playoffs right now, I'd be in the lineup."
...in all my years as a Rangers fan don't think I've ever witnessed anything like this. But the amazing thing is that the team hasn't missed a beat. Players continue to step-up (see Gabby, Anisimov and Avery tonight) while the CT Whale contingent are proving they are NHL ready.
...in a weird way the injuries may be the best thing to happen to this team. Really seems to have brought the team close together.
...Grachev not getting called up says a lot about what the Rangers organization thinks about him right now.
i think grachev is really starting to hit his stride from what i have heard and they probably dont want to kill any momentum he has developed by sending him back up to the rangers which sounds like a good move.
lay off grachev hes starting to play well down there and my guess is that they want to see him play well for a long period of time down there
@DT Yeah that must suck for them. Although you assume they're Ranger fans and happy to see them get called up.
@mike2 I hope you're right.
@ChrisP Rangers don't have a choice at this point.
