Fedotenko Feeling Better; Rangers Are Going to Continue Blocking Shots
Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports that John Tortorella said Ruslan Fedotenko's hand is feeling better today..."Feds is much better today. He's much better, there's no damage. I think we'll see tomorrow (if he can play Wednesday). There's just some stress on the tendons. It's much better with much better mobility. We'll see if he can practice tomorrow and go from there."
On whether the extra padding in the gloves helped:
"The other guys broke their hands and this guy didn't. We're going to continue blocking shots."
...with the way Rangers have been going down this season, I'm not so sure continuing to block shots is a great idea. Especially when you have one of the best goalies in the league behind you.
