"Dubinsky, with 17 goals and 38 points, was and will again be the Rangers' glue guy; the forward that because he can do so many things (power play, penalty kill, etc.) coach John Tortorella leans on in so many situations. When he went out, Tortorella admitted the Rangers would have no choice but to change some of what they were doing."
...Dubi was on his way to a breakout season before the injury. Hopefully, when he gets back he can pick up where he left off as the Rangers will need, along with his scoring, his toughness and leadership down the stretch and hopefully in the playoffs.
I love how Dubi can really do a bit of everything well. He's the kind of player that championship teams need.
They most certainly will need him. I've said it since his rookie year—he's got the skill and potential to be a top forward in the NHL. He's also got the heart to lead the team to victory in the playoffs.
Dubi is the man.
@BrianMineola Wonder what it was that clicked for him this off-season.
On the bright side, it's not a huge traumatic injury and they caught it before it became one. Can't wait to be wearing my shiny new Dubi heritage jersey when he comes back!
@ryantaussig Yeah, its all really clicked for him this season. Thats why the injury really hurts both him and Rangers.
