Rangers 4, Panthers 1

...unreal start to the game for the Blueshirts, but looked like the team started focusing on the Winter Classic as soon as they built the 3-0 lead and relied on Hank to take this one home. Can't blame them but I hate seeing them take their foot off their opponent's throat. Looked like Renney hockey out there.
...and speaking of Lundqvist, I'd say he's locked in going into the Winter Classic, wouldn't you?

...i may have been dead wrong about Richards, but Hagelin is making me look pretty good.
...didn't realize the Rangers had re-hired Perry Pearn to run the power play again. Brutal recently.
...GAS line has been a little off these last few games. AA, being pointless in his last four games with just three shots on goal, might be part of the reason.

...Rangers are now off until the Winter Classic on Monday, but their alumni will get after it tomorrow at 3pm.

Solid games by Dubinsky, Lundqvist and the defense. I love watching Boyle, Dubinsky and Mitchell forecheck. It seems like several times per game they keep the opponents backed up in their zone for almost their entire shift.
kevin completely calling hagelin's success earlier in the season and before that. good eye dude!
Stralman has been solid. Playing D is about making decisions, and he seems to make the right decisions. And that hip check against phillie...
Not for nothing, but MDZ did deliver a solid crosscheck to the chopper that precipitated the whole sucker punch incident, and I say GOOD! MDZ is becoming everything I did not expect; hard nose defensman that can contribute offensively.

@AnnoyingJoe MDZ kind of deserved it a bit just like you said. He got that stick up pretty good (I was sitting right there) but didnt deserve a sucker punch. The Rupp beat down was AWESOME!

Someone asked Tortorella "what do you make of what happened at the end of the game?' Tortorella responded "it was a sucker punch....he got what he deserved"
