Morning Skate Notes: Biron In, Woywitka Likely Out vs. Islanders
Andrew Gross at Rangers Rants reports that Martin Biron was the first goaltender off the ice at the morning skate meaning he will start tonight against the Islanders at MSG....with the Flyers tomorrow, makes sense to give Lundqvist a rest. Even if it's against the rival Islanders.
In other line-up news, Jeff Woywitka was hit on his injured foot with an errant puck during practice officially ending any chances he had of returning to the line-up. Tim Erixon will get his second straight start in his absence.
...thought Erixon looked solid in New Jersey the other night, so I'm more than comfortable having him in there again.

I heard Sam or Micheletti say the other day that Erixon's parents come over to see him play a game in Hartford and then he got called up and flew out west. Perhaps there will be a Jan Erixon sighting at the Garden tonight? That guy was just money along the boards!!
Im going to the game so I wanna see henny but last week I looked at the schedule and said that we will probably see marty.
@thenyrblog I said almost, with the lack of playing time i cant complain, not easy for a goalie to sit alot i dont feel nervous with him in.
