Miller Shines in Team USA Loss

millerusaUSA Hockey reports that Rangers 2011 first round pick J.T. Miller had a short-handed goal and an assist last night but it wasn't enough as the USA National Junior team lost to the Russian National Junior team 6-3 in an exhibition game.

Miller intercepted a pass with Russia on the man advantage in the second period's final minute and scored on a breakaway.

...if Miller was a lock to make the team before camp, what does last night's performance make him now? Maybe he gets a letter.

Too many returning guys for Miller to get a letter, but he might get a look in the top 6.
