Flyers Win EA Sports Winter Classic Simulation
Kalan adds that Artem Anisimov scored the Rangers lone goal and Henrik Lundqvist had 32 saves in the loss.
...i've seen EA Sports run this simulator for the Super Bowl and other big sporting events and it's usually correct, so I'm starting to get a little worried. Especially after last night's game.

If any of you [us] are worried because a simulator has @thenyrangers losing to @flyers, days before the game is even played ...well then we've got more serious issues than winning or losing a single game.
Besides, I'd bet that the very same simulator was run before the season started, and I can almost guarantee (w/o knowing) that the result didn't have the Rangers leading the Atlantic 35 games in.
Still, even if they do lose the game itself, is it really that big a deal..? Yes, many of us are spending a lot--A LOT--of money on tickets/travel, we put our emotions into the game and it as such dictates our mood depending on the outcome. Do I want to drive the 2 hours back without a win? Hell no. Will I enjoy the game--the experience, the atmosphere, the 24/7 series, &etc., win or lose? Damned straight!.

@KevinDeLury To be fair, if the same thing was about the Rangers winning the simulation, many people, probably including myself would come in here and just be like "Damn skippy".
Remember two things;
1. This is a freaking video game you are talking about
2. It's still a regular season game. There aren't any consolation prizes for winning this game

That EA simulator doesn't simulate The Winter Classic, it simulates a Rangers Flyers game. So, as far as I am concerned that ridiculous program has already been wrong twice this season.
I must admit that I'am also worried abbout the outcome of the winter classic. The Rangers record indicate that they're not very suxcessfull in big games with national audience. Hope I'am wrong this time because I really want this win. It would give the Rangers more confidance in future big games.

I actually got a pretty good night's sleep last night. Put that in the news but you won't.
