Erixon was summoned for the two game road trip in case Steve Eminger wasn't able to play do to an arm injury he sustained while blocking a shot Tuesday night.
...assuming this makes it less likely that Erixon will get in the line-up against the Coyotes tomorrow night, but with the way the team has played the last two games maybe Torts will be looking to mix it up a bit.
What was the point? Emminger is stinking up the place so even if he's not hurt he could use some time to reflect
I wouldn't mind seeing Gabby, Richie, and Hagelin on a line, followed by AA, Step, and Cally. I think Boyle or Dubi need to take some time and sit out, because with they certainly are not deserving of those contracts they just signed as of right now. Not to say they wont be there but it's just not happening now. I am never one to jump on the Avery bandwagon. My feeling on him is that, if hes in the line up, great, if he's not, then he's not. But once again, after EC was put back in, he played a pretty good first game , picked up a point, and has been a no show since. story of his life. Nothing to get to concerned about. hopefully this is the ugly bottom the rangers needed to hit. 1 goal in the last 2 games is simply unacceptable. lets regroup!
@bauerout With Rupp healthy I think we've probably seen the last of Christensen.
