Gross adds that Eminger left the arena in a sling.
Here's John Tortorella on Eminger...
"He's going to be out a while."
Eminger has 2g, 2a on the season.
...paging Mr. Erixon.
...tough break for Eminger who has really stepped up his game since the Sauer injury.
For more Rangers injury news from last night click the "Read More" tab below.
Jim Cerny notes that besides Emingers injury last night, Mike Rupp and Ruslan Fedotenk received stitches and Jeff Woywitka had a sore foot after blocking a shot.
...if Woywitka's injury ends up being serious, the Rangers may have no choice but to call up Redden. I kid, I kid.
Hope we can backfill with a prospect or journeyman from Hartford rather than making a trade, but we're running out of bodies. Erixon has been given the most attention by the team, but I liked Bell's shot and VTank's toughness. With the punishment our D-men are taking along the endboards, I'd prefer to put in a strong player like Vtank, right now, but I don't know how he's doing down in Hartford.
@thenyrblog Bring up Valentenko I go to the Whale games and this guy clears crease, real hard shot, blocks shots
Terrible news. now 3 of the 6 "opening the season d-men" are out, This is a disaster, call up tank and or erixon. SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP IT UP.
@thenyrblog redden!? Not even funny my man.
@thenyrblog Redden's $ is too much for the cap. I think we can bank on never seeing him up again...
@thenyrblog "hello, Mr. Sather, you have a call on line one, it's Paul Maras agent"
@jonybksi Don't have to convince me.
@wmm339 Ha! Sorry bro.
@Volcom955 Would love to see Erixon and Valentenko.
@BSURadioJim Oh God please no. Erixon and Valentenko please.
