Eminger Separates Shoulder
Andrew Gross at Rangers Rants says Steve Eminger separated his right shoulder after taking a hit along the boards from the Coyotes' Martin Hanzal during the Rangers 3-2 win last night.Gross adds that Eminger left the arena in a sling.

Jim Cerny notes that besides Emingers injury last night, Mike Rupp and Ruslan Fedotenk received stitches and Jeff Woywitka had a sore foot after blocking a shot.
...if Woywitka's injury ends up being serious, the Rangers may have no choice but to call up Redden. I kid, I kid.

Hope we can backfill with a prospect or journeyman from Hartford rather than making a trade, but we're running out of bodies. Erixon has been given the most attention by the team, but I liked Bell's shot and VTank's toughness. With the punishment our D-men are taking along the endboards, I'd prefer to put in a strong player like Vtank, right now, but I don't know how he's doing down in Hartford.

Terrible news. now 3 of the 6 "opening the season d-men" are out, This is a disaster, call up tank and or erixon. SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP IT UP.
