McIlrath Dominates Strength Testing at Opening Day of Moose Jaw Camp

Written by Kevin DeLury on .

mcilrathMatthew Gourlie at the Moose Jaw Times Journal reports that Rangers 2010 1st round pick Dylan McIlrath dominated the strength testing as he topped the bench press, medicine ball toss and the broad jump during opening day of the Moose Jaw Warriors training camp.

Jess Rubenstein (who found the above article) at The Prospect Park adds that enough is enough with the McIlrath/Fowler debate.

...i'm really starting to fall in love with this kid. Can't wait till the first time he pounds on someone who even looks at Lundqvist the wrong way.

In other prospect news, Brian Ring at CTWhale.com has a nice feature on 2010 4th round pick Andrew Yogan.

@TobySmith He'll play with Moose Jaw this year and while he'll get a long look in camp next year expect him to play the full season with the Whale. Unless there are injuries.

I've seen a ton of his fights on youtube an he never loses. The kid is a monster when he drops the gloves. Something we need when someone gets in front of Hank. Maybe he teaches Matt Cooke a lesson when messing with the Rangers.
