Flyers/HBO Discuss Winter Classic 24/7 Series
Tim Panaccio at CSNPhilly.com reports that a number of Flyer officials, including senior vice-president of business operations, Shawn Tilger and general manager Paul Holmgren, met with HBO’s 24/7 staff to discuss the Winter Classic."We're definitely excited about it," Holmgren said minutes before the meeting began. "Us and the Rangers is a perfect game to have in that format, and that venue."
The NHL has not officially announced the 2012 Winter Classic which is scheduled for Monday, January 2nd.

I'd bet my left nut that Torts is the unhappiest man involved when it comes to an HBO show featuring his life and coaching behind the scenes. I'm sure most coaches hate it, but I just can't see him being okay with it. Luckily he doesn't make that call because I'm pumped about it.
