...boogles my mind how Torts can go from giving EC less than 10 minutes of ice time last night to now putting him on the top line in an attempt try and jumpstart Gaborik.
...after last night's physical affair, should be interesting to see if Torts goes with Avery over MZA tomorrow night.
Gross adds that Staal and Girardi were given the day off.
Why does it boggle your mind?
This clown has been changing lines ALL season long. Why change now?
Christensen was completely USELESS last night, so Tortorella's solution? Move him to the first line!!! what a great idea.
you cant blame him for switching the lines up. for the most part we played OUR defensive game, blocking shots and all that. now we just need to get our game going offensively because it cleary wasn't there last night. despite have 28 shots, we made neuvirths job extremely easy...lets rattle his cage in game 2 and the only way thats going to happen is if we create traffic infront and getting pucks to the net
What happened to the Wolski-Stepan-MZA line. A few months ago they were the only line on the team which looked productive on some nights.
I even recall one of them saying (I think it might have been Step) that they had instant chemistry.
Also the Feds-Boyle-Prust line was solid too.
Good point on boggling my mind. Can't agree with you on worst coach comment. Torts is in the process of setting this team up to be a Cup contender for years to come.
@CraiginCanada That makes too much sense.
@bauerout Definitely don't blame him but c'mon the guy is a walking line change. Very difficult to form chemistry when lines are always in flux.
@KevinDeLury I agree with that but at the same time, when your in a playoff series, we dont really have the time to sit around and wait for things to come together...bottom line the rangers need to UP their level of offense and defense in game 2...lets go blueshirts!
