Boudreau estimates D Dennis Wideman (leg) may be able to return in three weeks.
Carrera gives this line-up for tonight assuming Green plays:
...like I said the other day expect Green in the line-up. Not sure how much of an impact he will have, but Rangers still need to respect his offense from the blueline.
Couple thoughts. The mike green factor can be big. If the mike green that has an offensive mind set and actually produces that could be bad but if the offensive mind set that doesnt produce that leads to odd man rushes the other way (see canadiens last season) that will be good, if he just focuses on d, we shouldnt have that much trouble with him and that means less shots for him anyway if he takes that route. Also i think we can get to nuvy, if we can win tonight, put some goals up bump him here and there (legally) and then egt him into the garden as a rookie in need of a win, especially if the crowd is smart and can taunt him and get in his head i think we got this one. hes good and has played in ahl championships but its the garden in the nhl...WAY different
